Thought I would pop my timeline on this post as I had been looking for recent Accord timelines myself.

Background - previous application declined with another lender due to property flood risk (its minimal FYI)

22/11 - Offer accepted on property
24/11 - Full application submitted to other lender
24/11 - 28/12 - back and forward with other lender, valuation etc... then decline due to flood risk

23/12 - AIP (we were preparing for no from other lender)
03/01 - Full mortgage application submitted with Accord
03/01 - Hard credit check registered in Equifax
03/01 - I received text to book in valuation (this was an error and should have gone to estate agent and also broker company input wrong address for property i'm purchasing)
10/01 - FINALLY rectified broker error after 1 week and correct property valuation booked
11/01 - Broker advised Accord portal is showing all documents as satisfied and waiting on valuation
17/01 - Valuation is booked for this date

Really hoping for an offer end of this week after the valuation tomorrow - Assuming Accord have no questions as documents show as satisfied but guess I will have to see once the whole package post valuation goes for final underwriting

    Fingers crossed

Definitely. My (absolutely excellent) broker told me that by valuation time they've already approved you with Accord. So it won't take long at all...

Hi everyone, my mortgage broker is going to submit my first application (DiP) to Accord tomorrow - I thought I'd look into what their timelines are like and so glad I found this thread!

It's an awkward time of year to apply because in March I get my pay review and bonus, so ideal would be a month or two from now, but the house won't wait! I hope they accept pay review letters from employers... If I even get that far.

I'll be peeking in here often!
Jumping on this thread sorry as looking at Accord as lender to go with once we've found a property. Did they accept your upcoming pay review? I'll get my annual (guaranteed) pay rise in April, but can't wait that long to buy. Broker thinks Accord will only take pay rise into account once I've had my first wage slip at the new rate.

Happy to read a few people have had such speedy applications with Accord recently, I know I'll be on pins the whole time waiting for offer!

I went with Accord, it was just over a year ago so perhaps not entirely relevant now, but they were really on the ball and I think I had an offer in a week or less.  The opposite to my buyer who went with Natwest and it took about 5 weeks.
