NHS - SPPA Pension

Hi folks
I've done a bit of a search on the forum but still struggling. We are trying to do some projections for my wife's NHS SPPA pension. She joined the NHS in July 2013 so I think she has both pre 2015 and post 2015 entitlement. We aren't clear from the SPPA site whether we should be using the NHSPenCalculator Excel file from the SPPA website or the modeller within her actual SPPA account, but, surprise surprise, both give entirely different results hence us being confused.
Any advice?

Surely the easiest way of finding out her pension entitlements is to get her annual total rewards statement via NHSBSA?1

The NHSBSA is responsible for NHS pensions in England and Wales. Since the OP mentions the SPPA I'm guessing they are in Scotland. If they haven't already done so they should register with the Scottish equivalent My Pension (https://mypension.sppa.gov.uk/Register.aspx) to get access to their annual benefit statement.1

Yes, Scotland. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.I’ve registered on the SPPA site and have my current and historic ABS’s but I’m still as clueless as to which calculator I should be using
I’m not sure if anyone has experience of the site, but, their calculators are pretty poor and not very user friendly !0
