I got this through a Clyde 1 email but running cross multiple stations. I suspect you might need to search for your own local station. 

You need to listen out for a phonecall from the station and say "Make Me A Winner".

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS

Start Date: Monday 1 January 2024 at 6:00am

End Date: Friday 12 January 2024 at 3:00pm

The first Entry Period will open Monday 1 January 2024 at 6:00am and close on Friday 5 January 2024 at 3:00pm

Following this first Entry Period, entries to the Competition will open and close as follows (individually an “Entry Period”, together the “Entry Periods”):

Monday: opens at 3:10pm on Friday, closes at 3:00pm on Monday

Tuesday: opens at 3:10pm on Monday, closes at 3:00pm on Tuesday

Wednesday: opens at 3:10pm on Tuesday, closes at 3:00pm on Wednesday

Thursday: opens at 3:10pm on Wednesday, closes at 3:00pm on Thursday

Friday: opens at 3:10pm on Thursday, closes at 3:00pm on Friday

Any entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid but you may still be charged.

After each Entry Period has closed, one entrant from all of the valid entries received will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).

We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule.

Please note that the Competition Entry Period as specified in these Competition terms and conditions are final and are not impacted by the time of broadcast of announcements advertising how to enter the Competition, which may in some circumstances be delayed.

ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS

After the start of each Entry Period, the Winning Phrase and prize amount (the “Prize”) will be announced on air. The Winning Phrase will be the only winning answer which the randomly selected entrant must provide in order to win the Prize. The Prize will be a specified cash amount that entrants are trying to win.

We reserve the right to announce the Winning Phrase and Prize at any time during the Entry Period. We may also advertise the Winning Phrase and Prize on the respective Station’s Website, social media or via an SMS marketing message or via any other medium at our absolute discretion.

After the Entry Period has closed, one entrant from all of the valid entries received will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).

In order to win the Prize for the relevant Draw, the randomly selected entrant must answer their phone within 5 rings. The 5 rings will be judged according to the Station audio recording (for the avoidance of doubt the sound of a “ring ring” shall count as one ring, not two), and the first words they speak must be the Winning Phrase, and this must be stated immediately upon answering the phone (for the avoidance of doubt the entrant must have started to speak the phrase within 5 seconds of answering the phone) in order to be declared the winner.

The entrant selected may be required to talk to the presenter / programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach of these terms and conditions).

If they give the correct Winning Phrase, they will win the Prize. We may ask an entrant to repeat or confirm their answer.

The entrant will not win the Prize should they:

• fail to answer the phone at all (including if the call goes to voicemail); or

• fail to answer the phone within five rings (according to the station’s audio); or

• answer the phone beginning with any other words (including other words before the correct words, such as “Hello, winning phrase”); or

• fail to say anything at all; or

• fail to start saying the winning phrase within 5 seconds of answering the phone;

• be disconnected for any reason beyond our control;

• be inaudible for any reason.

For the avoidance of doubt, winners can say other words after the Winning Phrase and they will still win the Prize. However, where any foul or explicit language is used, we reserve the right to disqualify an entrant and any prize previously awarded will be forfeited.

If there are no words spoken (according to the studio’s audio recording) or the call goes to voicemail, even if the pre-recorded voicemail messages starts with the Winning Phrase, this will be judged as a failure to answer and no prize will be awarded. The answer given must be clearly audible to presenters and adjudicators and audible on the studio’s audio recording. If this is unclear or inaudible due to a poor signal, network issues or failure or any other reason, entrants are ineligible to win the Prize. If entrants appear in the judgement of the presenters and/or adjudicators to be driving illegally, they will not be eligible to win. Where there is any doubt in relation to whether or not an entrant has spoken the correct Winning Phrase or the Prize should be awarded, we reserve the right to defer decision making to an off-air adjudicator to check the audio recording with reference to these terms and conditions. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final and decisions will be made with reference to the audio recording on our systems. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.

Where there has been a winner, a new Prize will be announced on-air. We reserve the right to announce a new Winning Phrase for the next Entry Period and Draw. Entrants will need to enter again to be eligible to win. All previous entries will not be valid for future Draws.

Where there has not been a winner, there will be a rollover and we reserve the right to announce a new Prize and Winning Phrase for the next Entry Period and Draw. The Prize will not be lower than the Prize for the previous Draw. All entries from the completed Draw, and any previous Draws, where no winner was declared, will automatically be eligible for the next Draw. Entrants do not need to enter again in order to be eligible but are able to do so if they would like to increase their chances.

We reserve the right to guarantee a winner for some Draws at our discretion. This will be clearly communicated on air throughout the Entry Period of that relevant Draw. Where a winner is guaranteed, if the first entrant chosen to play is not declared the winner, another entrant will be drawn at random and asked to play. This process will continue until that Draw is validly won.

ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY, ENTRY LIMITS, AND COSTS

Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition and Entrants must have permission from the bill payer before entering. Bauer Media is not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, which may delay or prevent their participation.

Entrants can enter each Draw a maximum of 12 times (including free bonus entries) by sending an SMS message starting with the keyword WIN to 63103, 61025, 81215, 64100 or 61054; CASH to 61054 or 63103; YES to 61025, 63103 or 61054; PLAY to 61054 or 63103; or ROCK to 64100. If the message does not start with a valid keyword, or is not sent to a valid number, it will not be entered. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response to their SMS message confirming their entry. The delivery of this message may be delayed at peak times.

A single SMS entry costs £2.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. These messages may be charged outside of any inclusive message bundles.

We reserve the right to run bonus SMS entry incentives throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the automated SMS response received to confirm the entry. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limit may change.

ONLINE

Entrants can enter each Draw a maximum of 20 times (including entries included in a bundle) via the Website.

Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition. A single online entry costs £2.00. Entry bundles may be available at our discretion. The use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider.

We reserve the right to run bonus entry incentives online throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the Website. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limit may change.

Entrants can enter each Draw a maximum of 32 times by calling 0330 880 4523, 0330 880 4536, 0330 880 4594, 0330 880 4608, 0330 880 4615, 0330 880 4629, 0330 880 4541, 0330 880 4557, 0330 880 4572, 0330 880 4563, 0330 880 4583 or 0330 880 4682 and following the instructions. We reserve the right to run bonus entry incentives via SMS or Online throughout the duration of the Competition. Where we operate an incentive, the Phone entry limit may change.

ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom, (ii) are not a Bauer employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and (iii) are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner).

Entrants must enter using a valid UK mobile number.

All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else. If we later become aware that the person who played the competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved.

ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Entrants who are randomly selected will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. This may be live on air or off-air. Due to programming schedules, this may not be broadcast on all participating radio stations.

All callers are randomly selected in the same way and any off-air recording will only ever take place after the Entry Period has closed. The name, hometown, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s Website and / or social media platforms.

By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their voice, name and location, as well as any other details or information they share about themselves, being announced on-air.

Entrants are only able to win a single Prize throughout the duration of this Competition. Also, if an entrant has won £500 or more in any Bauer Media Competition over the past 6 months they are not eligible to win. For more details on this, please see item 4.11 ”Prize Limits” of the Bauer Media Group Competition General Terms & Conditions.

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS

The Prize will always be a cash amount that will be delivered to a winner paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque.

Delivery or payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and / or proof of address and to internal compliance checks within 14 days of being contacted.

If we are unable to contact a winner to award a prize within 14 days of the Draw date, or if the winner is unable to provide us with personal identification and / or proof of address within 14 days of being contacted, the winner forfeits entirely their right to the prize, and we reserve the right to award this to an alternative winner where possible.

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Payment of the Prize may take up to 28 days from the point at which the Promoter receives the correct details.

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION

By entering the Competition, entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from the Promoter via SMS text message. Entrants can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 81215, 63103, 61025, 64100 or 61054. This will be charged at 1 standard network rate message. If entrants do not wish to receive any marketing communications, they will need to do this after each time they re-enter the Competition. Entrants personal data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT

Entrants will not be put through to speak on-air if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Promoter, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the prize, this will be forfeited.

It is a condition of entry to all our Competitions that we have the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name, hometown, character, likeness and voices of Competition entrants and winners.

In particular, entrants’ consent to their entries to radio Competitions being read out on-air and/or to their conversations with our presenters or playing of a Competition being broadcast on-air and communicated to the public on our website/social media pages or otherwise, in our sole discretion. For clarity, we may also record and store audio recordings of entrants off-air which may be broadcast on-air at a later time at our sole discretion.

Entrants, particularly prize winners and their guests if applicable, may be required to supply a photo of themselves or to participate in photo, recording, video and/or filming session(s). You agree that we shall have the right to use all the resulting publicity materials in any media and in any manner, we see fit, unless you advise us at the time of entering the Competition that you wish to retain your anonymity. You agree that the Promoter (or any third party nominated by the Promoter) may in its sole discretion use the winner's (and if applicable their guest's) name and image and their comments relating to the prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being due.

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS

We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to take the Competition off air for bank holidays, or at other times when programming output requires it.

Probably not worth requesting a merge if anyone was thinking of doing so, let this post go to Game Over next week and I will update the thread in the post/phone/text section with new dates as and when the competition continues.

Don’t worry, they were posted on the main section of the comps board when there was a free online entry route, since they changed the only way to enter for “free” is via a phone number it made sense to post these in the Post/Phone/Text section, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/post-phone-text-comps
