ULEZ charges

If I’m going to Heathrow airport and parking my car up in the car park for 19 days, how much will I be charged for being the in the ULEZ zone? Do I pay for every day or just the 2 days I’m going in and out of the zone?
Thanks

You only pay Ulez charges for when you're actively driving your vehicle within the zone (and would pass a relevant camera). You don't pay for any days that the car is parked up in a car park.

If your car is ULEZ compliant you don't pay. If it's not you only pay when you drive in the zone.

You could always use one of the parking sites outside the ULEZ zone.
  • Only non-compliant cars are charged for driving in the ULEZ zone - these are roughly pre-2005 petrols and pre-2015 diesels.

If your car is compliant - no charge.

If your car isn't compliant - you pay only for the days you drive in the zone, you do NOT pay for days where your vehicle is parked and doesn't move.
