Should I include this job from my CV

So I've been running my own ebay business for 10 years and in October decided to get back into fulltime employment as ebay stopped being profitable enough
I really don't like my new job of 3 months and have found a job advert that suits me down to a tee.
Now my dilemma is should I include my 3 months job on my CV - would wanting to leave a job after 3 months be a red flag to a prospective employer? Or should I just say I'm still running my ebay business and lie that I'm currently in fulltime employment?

As in almost every case in life, it's better to simply tell the truth.3

If you get this job won't they know you have been fibbing from your P60?1

There won't be a P60 from the current job if OP isn't in employment at the end of the tax year. I think you might mean a P45?Little_bit_taller said:If you get this job won't they know you have been fibbing from your P60?
No, they won't know if OP simply says they don't have one and completes a new starter form - but I'm with the 'tell the truth' brigade here. Absolutely nothing wrong with admitting you've made a mistake in your choice of job, especially if you've been out of employment for a while. Just ensure you have a good explanation as to why you didn't think the job was for you and why the one you're applying for looks a better fit.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
it'll just show up on the RTI filing with current year PAYE income ...Marcon said:

there is nothing to be gained telling a direct lie on a CV and in various roles omission of a fact like that is grounds for dismissal and regulatory action
