    A lot of the expenditure items are split proportionately to their salaries, so they do look odd and on the low side.

    Not unreasonable. I used to do i/e for DROs that way. When it comes to giving figures to creditors though it may be tactically better to do a 50/50 split.

    Another reason to go self-managed. Yes, some creditors may query the figures (though most won't) so you need to be able to give a reasoned explanation

    Question: if the OP could get a 0% balance transfer card could that result in lower monthly payments and therefore make them manageable?
