It's great to see this thread is still going strong 

Out of curiosity I searched the archives to find out when they started....

The oldest one I could find was a challenge I started back in February 2015 which went on to be the Compers Challenge thread in 2016 

So this has ben running for well over 9 years now  Well done to everyone who has kept it going 

I definitely think the most memorable challenge I did was "1 Million Competitions in a year" which a group of us did achieve  Does anyone remember doing that one? 
That one would be worth a rerun
