The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, half-board, in one of the eye-catching garden suites at Seaham Hall – The Times and Sunday Times’s northern hotel of the year for 2023.
The five-star property sits just above a long, sandy beach on the Durham coast and occupies the mansion in which Lord Byron was married in 1815. Inside, there’s a vibrant sense of style and colour, as well as the 44,000 sq foot Serenity Spa, with hammam, pool, Zen garden and outdoor hot tubs. There, the winner and guest will enjoy one spa treatment each (subject to availability) as well as full spa access during their stay. For dinner, they can take their pick of the pan-Asian Ozone restaurant or the Dining Room, where the executive chef Damian Broom’s inventive, seasonal menus shine.
The prize must be taken before March 31, 2024, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
