Tell me more, please, about the B00ts blister pack recycling @Cherryfudge . Do you get points per blister pack? What do you have to do to get them?
Many thanks,
Pip

Superdrug shops with a pharmacy also take them without the palaver of the Boots scheme.

Thanks @Floss as I can't get my head around the B00ts scheme so I just feed my empty blister packs into the tub, hoping they will at least be recycled. I think you have to have a photo of some kind and know what the tablets were and how many pieces of each type you put in, then you can claim B00ts points if spent within a short space of time - which was the end of my trying to do it properly as our B00ts is tiny so I'm unlikely to get what I want locally, and I don't want to waste my data sending them photos of blister packs.

@Cherryfudge I swap between doing that & taking the bag to Superdrug when near one with a pharmacy, I gave up on the Boots one as I didn't use the points!

We have the Superdrug but it doesn't have a pharmacy. I'm glad to have somewhere to recycle the things: it's amazing how many I I get through!

Minimised over the last month:
A bundle of T-shirts and a mobile phone sold, with £85 going in the bank. Sadly, not mine - they belonged to DS so it's his money. 😁
Another body lotion used up and replaced by the very last one in the toiletries stash - it seems to have taken an eternity but the stash is now under control. A small jar of facial day moisturising cream finished this morning, not to be replaced immediately as I have a night one to use up first - tbh, there's not a lot of difference in the two.
Three books returned to the Little Free Library; better still - none came home with me!
Minimise & Make Do:
On the food front I've had a busy morning in the kitchen using up odds and ends and have ended up with: a loaf of bread, a dozen carrot & walnut muffins and four individual fruit & jelly pots. Tonight's risotto will take care of h/m chicken stock, veggies from the fridge and a small tub of green chillies from the freezer.
Be kind to others and to yourself too.6 -
@PipneyJane we just chuck them in the boots box. I couldn’t work out the scheme. We got rid of sack loads.

I tried the Boots scheme once but it was so complicated so now just put packs in the box in either Superdrug or Boots.DH is on so many medications , we get through several blister packs a week.

I do the same. I just don't have the time to photograph dozens of blister packs each month.

I've contacted B00ts and they have a dedicated number / email for the Scan 2 Recycle scheme - and interestingly the footnote of the email seems to indicate the contents are confidential, or I'd pass it on. I'll email them and see if I can get somewhere.
