Make do - I had leftovers from lunch for my dinner. I had made a special lunch as my son and his family were visiting.
Mend - not really me but my son did a couple of repairs that I couldn't manage myself. He replaced a roller catch on an internal door and also fitted a new handle on my Actifry.
Minimise - I have a sweetie box for when the grandkids visit. There were some sweets that had been in there for ages and were getting a bit gooey and bendy. The grandkids had a great time sharing them out although there was also a bit of arguing 🥴.

Make do - the usual, using food etc we have in where possible.
No mending.
Minimise - I finished off a body spray, a hand sanitiser, a shampoo, a tube of mints and a bottle of washing up liquid! The body spray, sanitiser and mints were finished off at work last night so disposed of the empties at work. My bag felt very empty and light walking home last night. I am also now on annual leave for the week so have plans to get a good volume of stuff used up, then I will do a replenishment shop at the end of the month when I get paid from work.8 -
Make do - made do with a thoroughly delicious roast pork dinner. Made a nice bit of room when I took it out the freezer last night.
Mend - nothing but I am up to my armpits in laundry.
Minimise - a printer, box and some rubbish to recycling.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Make do - eating from home. Discovered that tinned peaches go nicely with my baked oatmeal. Made flapjacks. Rereading books that I have already.Mend - six moth holes in a wool and mohair jumper. It’s 30 years old so must also qualify as a make do by now! I have put it in the freezer in the hope that it would kill any moth eggs that could be present. I had thought that maybe I should throw it away but it is really warm and you can’t see where the mends are at all. I shall give it a wash after the freeze session. DH repaired a pair of his gloves.Minimise - a bag of oats for my breakfasts and the flapjacks. Onto my last bag now. Finished a packet of hazelnuts in my porridge.5

Make do - simple dinner of soup.
Mend - no mending but an absolute ton of laundry. I swear there are people living in this house that I haven’t met yet from the amount of laundry I have.
Minimise - started taking an old broken vacuum cleaner apart and into recycling. Have another one I need to clean, empty and sell so that’s a job for 5his week.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Make Do, Mend & Minimise in 2025 (and 2024)6 -
Make do - I was visiting a friend yesterday and instead of buying a wee gift I made cheese scones in the air fryer. I'm not great at making scones in the oven but these were delicious. I made half the usual quantity as there's not as much room in the air fryer. I will definitely make more of these now.
Mend - I dropped a stitch while knitting a cardigan for myself. I can usually correct this by picking it up with a crochet hook but had to rip back 3 rows because of the pattern. Took me ages 😳
Minimise - I used the rest of some past their best carrots. I used a recipe that was posted on here a couple of days ago. I added a chopped leek and whizzed it in the processor and it was delicious. So dinner last night was soup and home made Eve's pudding from the freezer. A quick dinner after my day out.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)
