Digital Thermometers

On Amazon you can buy 4 LR 41 for £1.00 up, but a replacement Digital Thermometers, which comes with a battery already installed, can be bought from Boots at under £7.00, and on the beast Amazon from £4.00 up. I do appreciate there is quality to consider
Considering that a LR 41 battery could have a life of 2 to 5 years in a thermometer and which, 🤞 will get little use, is buying a new thermometer a better long term option ?
