Tax Free Childcare Missing Top-up

Hi,

We have just funded our Tax Free Childcare account with £1999. By my calculations we should have received £499.75 topup, however have only been credited £439.36.

We are newbies to this. Are we missing something?

We had previously made an 80p test deposit and received 20p topup.

A quick check shows that the most the gov will add is 2000 per child per year. Is it possible you have breached that condition?

No. We have only just opened the account and the transactions above are the only ones we have done.

@PhillipIngram, did you get this resolved? I’m having the same issue, added money to my account yesterday and no top up. I haven’t hit any of the limits.

No, we're still non-the-wiser as to why we received less than expected.

Have you received any top-up at all? The two top-ups we've received have been instant, once our money has appeared in the account.
