When selecting pans for induction use go for those with smooth flat bottoms... Them's with embossed brand labelling are poorer performance I have found.

Any old pans with warped or uneven bases should be given away / relegated to an outdoor BBQ as they'll not work well.

My Bosch (Neff and Siemens are in same family) was supplied with a set of pans in the deal - made by Schulte Ufer.  They are excellent but very expensive.

IKEA do some very good and relatively cheap pans that are suitable for induction.  So one need not pay a lot.

I'd personally avoid any 'converter' unless used for a very specialised pan that just cannot be re-purchased in induction form.  You'll lose all the efficiency advantage of an induction hob... e.g. lift off the pan = hob off;  replace = back on.  Plus you have two hot items to worry about.
