OS Daily Christmas Day 2023

Good Morning all and a very happy Christmas to those of our little internet family who are struggling or missing someone I hope that the day treats you kindly and however you choose to spend the day thats ok just do whatever works for you x
Up with the lark and took DS to his key holder job the district nurses use the building so we left some chocs and biscuits for them  , popped to the local shop for 2 fresh french sticks for our bacon rolls at lunchtime we are just having a quiet day tomorrow is our big day as the family descends so it will be chaos but a lovely chaos 
Have a good day however you are choosing to spend it stay safe warm and dry xx

OH and I are going to take the dogs out for a good walk this morning and then stop off at the pub for a quick drink on the way back, not much to do here but we do need to hover again and a quick mop of the floors (muddy dogs)

Later I need to make a tomato and Parmesan frittata and cook some  roasties and shove some bits into the oven, nothing taxing at all, DD should be home around 2 or 3 so we will open presents then.

Morning Everyone

Hope you can all have a happy Christmas, remember to be good to yourselves as well as others.

Tommorow is our big day so I'm going over to friends later for Christmas dinner. I'm getting things ready for tomorrow - stuffing and yorkies being cooked, they can be heated up again.

I also miss Nelski and  also Dumpling, she loved Christmas too.

Happy Christmas to all. Hope the poorly ones are feeling better.
Bit of a strange day . Couldn't sleep after midnight Mass. Finally got to sleep about 2 but the central heating decided to come on at 4 ( why? ) and the radiator sounded like someone tapping . I was fully awake so got up . Just been for a long dog walk and going to friends for lunch . Actually feel like going back to bed ! Surprised to see many shops open ,the smaller convenience type but one larger local supermarket too. Quite a lot of traffic on the roads as well.,but the park was very quiet except for dog walkers . 

Was thinking of you  silver oldie ( in the night!) and wishing you well .
