There's no evidence for tht. And if it was happening, they'd have to disclose it.
Yep, that gets to the heart of my original question. Is it disclosed somewhere but I just can't find it?

But I'm not looking for absence of evidence, I prefer to see some actual evidence.

Let me ask the question slightly differently...
Are all of those fund providers doing it for free? - No? - Ok so what are they charging and who's paying for it?

If the 0.3% covering the cost of running the whole Nest scheme also covers the underlying costs, the total cost of the underlying funds must be coming in less than 0.3% then... but it would be nice to see that somewhere.

Does it matter what the underlying fund fees are? As long as you know you are paying 0.3% in total?
As you can only buy these funds with a NEST pension, and a NEST pension can only hold these funds, how the 0.3% is split is not terribly relevant.

Did you get a definite answer?  I haven’t been here long enough to post links but if you do a search for “nest reveal fund manager fees” there is an article in money manager which states that fund manager fees come from the annual management fee (rather than a percentage of your fund value).

The annual management fee is a percentage of your fund value.  The administration for the funds comes out of that.    Just like every other bundled pricing product out there.
