Win a Ski Trip for Two on Win+, December 2023 to February 2024 – Specific Rules.
1. The Win a Ski Trip for Two promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Tuesday 19th December 2023 to Monday 26th February 2024 on Global’s Win+ Platform which includes the following Global websites: www.heart.co.uk, www.capitalfm.com, www.smoothradio.com, www.radiox.co.uk, www.goldradiouk.com, www.classicfm.com, www.lbc.co.uk, www.capitalxtra.com www.globalplayer.com, www.bigtop40.com and www.winplus.co.uk and will promoted on those websites and on other channels including but not limited to radio stations, social media, email newsletters, SMS text clubs, etc. The Promoter is Global.
2. IMPORTANT: THIS PROMOTION IS ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AT THE TIME OF ENTRY AND IS NOT OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE ISLE OF MAN OR THE CHANNEL ISLANDS. The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

3. There are three ways to enter the Promotion:

4a) You can access the Promotion by clicking on the relevant competition link on the ‘Win’ page of Global’s brand websites including www.heart.co.uk, www.capitalfm.com, www.smoothradio.com, www.radiox.co.uk, www.mygoldmusic.co.uk, www.classicfm.com, www.lbc.co.uk, www.capitalxtra.com, www.capitaldance.com, www.goldradiouk.com, www.globalplayer.com www.bigtop40.com and It is also available at www.winplus.co.uk.
4b) You must complete your entry by selecting the number of entries you would like to purchase and completing the payment journey through your chosen Payment Services Provider (PSP). The cost of the entry package you select will be made clear at the point of purchase, and are in Clause 6.
5. Entering via SMS Text Message:
5a) To enter via SMS you must text in with the specified keyword to the specified shortcode (the “Text Message Line”) as directed by the presenter(s) on-air, or as directed in the marketing SMS received. Each text entry costs £2.50 plus standard network rate.
5b) SMS entry is not open for the entirety of the competition run. The opening and closing times of entry via SMS will be given out on air or specified in the marketing SMS received. Please only enter via SMS when instructed by a presenter on air, or via the marketing SMS received. Otherwise your entry won’t count but you may still be charged.
5c) On entering the Promotion by SMS text message, you will receive text bouncebacks which confirm your entry and invite you to take part in offers for bonus entries. The details of these offers will be included in the bouncebacks and a full breakdown of how these offers work is detailed below in clause 6. It is your responsibility to ensure that, if you respond to any of these offers, the text lines for the Promotion round are still open when you do so.

7. With regard to entries charged to a mobile phone (via either SMS or Direct Carrier Billing):7a) We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of messages and/or charges to and/or from us.
7b) We are not responsible for erroneous entries which may occur through a mobile phone network or handset error.
7c) As this is a Premium Rate Promotion, it is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient credit on your phone to pay for this. In the event you enter and have insufficient credit to pay for your entry/entries, payment may be taken at a later date. Only charged entries will be eligible to win.
8. With regard to entries made online via Win+, we are not responsible for any issues or problems experienced by your chosen Payment Services Provider, which may delay the delivery of your entry to us.
9. The Promotion closes for entries via SMS and Win+ at 23:00 on Monday 26th February 2024.
10. Entry via Post
10a) To enter via post you must send your name and a UK mobile telephone number on a postcard or on/in an envelope to: WP24SKI PO Box 8669, Derby, DE1 9SR.
10b) Only one entry per postcard / envelope, each bearing the correct and sufficient postage, will be accepted. Personal and hand deliveries, or entries sent to any address other than that listed in clause 10a, will not be accepted.
10c) The Promotion closes for entries via post at 16:00 Thursday 29th February 2024. Entries received before the opening time or after the closing time of the Promotion will not be included.11. Within seven days of the closing time of the Promotion, one entry be selected at random from all the entries received during the Promotion. The selected entry must be eligible. If you are the entrant who submitted that entry, one of our representatives will call you on the telephone number with which you entered the Promotion to notify you of your win. You will need to respond to the notification within 28 days of our representative contacting you. If you fail to do so, we will move on to select another winner. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select another entrant.
12. We may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county), and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
13. By entering the Promotion you are requesting that we process your entry into the Promotion immediately. We complete the entry process immediately following receipt of your entry and therefore you acknowledge that once you enter the Promotion you will lose any right you may have to cancel your entry and receive a refund (whether under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or otherwise).
Eligibility:
14. The Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom who are based in the United Kingdom at the time of entry. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion is not open to residents of the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
15. Multiple entries into the Promotion by SMS text message are permitted up to a maximum of 10 paid entries per day (£25 + standard network rate charges); any additional entries above this limit will be excluded from the Promotion.
16. Multiple entries are permitted across the Win+ platform up to a maximum of £25 spend per day; any additional entries above this limit will be excluded from the Promotion (please note that entries into other promotions on the Win+ platform will also contribute to this daily spend limit). If we believe that entrants may be entering across multiple devices or phone numbers in order to negate the spend limit, they may be disqualified from the Promotion.
17. For the avoidance of doubt, you may make entries via SMS Text Message and Win+ up to the applicable limit of each method of entry. However, the Promotion is for entertainment purposes only and we strongly advise against excessive use.
18. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be made via the postal route.

19. One winning entrant will receive a 7-night Ski Holiday for 2 Adults in Andorra.
20. The prize includes:
• A 7 night stay in 4* Sport Hotel Soldeu in a Twin/Double Room – Half Board (School Holidays not included)
• 6-days Lift Pass included.
• Return Flights from Heathrow
• Return Coach Transfers (approximately 3hrs transfer time)
• £500 spending money, paid via bank transfer at the time of winning.
• Basic travel insurance is included, as long as the guests travelling are under 75 years of age.21. The prize will be fulfilled by Prize Shark, And their separate terms and conditions (below) will also apply to this Promotion
Prize Shark Travel Terms & Conditions
21.1 All holidays are ABTA & ATOL bonded.
21.2 Winners must be over the age of 18+, except for Las Vegas where you must be 21 and over to check in to a hotel.
21.3 We will endeavour to book the winners their first choice of departure dates – however all trips are subject to availability.
21.4 The departure airports are specified within the prize/reward, however if the winner would like to fly from an alternative airport this can be arranged and any difference in cost must be met by them.
21.5 Transfers are included where specified on the prize. No airport transfers are included within the UK.
21.6 Once the holiday has been confirmed, we are unable to make any changes or amendments to the holiday.
21.7 Dates that are excluded from the prizes are School and Bank holidays unless otherwise specified in the actual prize.
21.8 It is the winners and passengers’ sole responsibility to have the correct documentation for entry into the country or countries they will be travelling too.
21.9 All travel prizes must be redeemed within a year of the winner being announced.
21.10 No cash alternative is available for any of the holiday prizes.
21.11 In certain countries tourists must pay local Taxes/Resorts Fee’s directly to the hotelier, this is not included in the travel prizes/rewards and must be paid by the passengers.22. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.
23. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
24. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’). If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 28 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
25. Travel insurance is provided by the Promoter on an optional basis and is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. Travellers must be 74 years old or younger. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to check the Promoter’s travel insurance policy to ensure it provides the appropriate level of cover required. If travel is to the following locations: Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mexico, Venezuela, India, Iraq, Philippines, Honduras, Brazil, Somalia, Algeria, Mali, Mauritania or Niger, full names of travellers must be supplied to the insurer before Last updated: August 2023 travel. The travel insurance is provided to the winner on the understanding and agreement that it is only valid for the holiday prize described in this Promotion. Should the winner decide not to accept the Promoter’s travel insurance policy the responsibility will be on the winner to obtain suitable travel insurance for themselves and, where applicable, their guests.
26. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
27. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except in our sole discretion.
28. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection:
30. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
31. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us with their personal data.
32. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.
33. We and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.
34. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
35. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
