Twitter links

Can I please check if there's an issue with Twitter links showing up, or some kind of formatting requirement for them? I'm including Twitter/X links in my post but then getting multiple posts following these with the Tw/X link as if it's not been included already, so I'm wondering if there's a bug or something like that which is preventing them from appearing to others?
It would be good to know so I can adapt my posts accordingly and prevent others from having to do extra work

I've had a couple missing so been copying the TW link into the Url link box - not sure of the correct name ut it's thee drop down box from the symbol that looks like a chain and next to the smilie!

I've also been doing this with IG so it just gives the post link and not the page with a big picture

It's a hyperlink generator. In the old forum, all links had to be created that way, not just copied and pasted. So much easier now except for Instagram and Twitter/X.

It's probably either dupe posts getting merged or people posting in a hurry not bothering to read to see if the twitter link's already been posted.

For TW/X and Instagram, copy the link, then highlight it and click the 'link' URL and paste the URL in there too, then it will appear as a link and not disappear and try and turn it embedded view. 
Whether it links it or not you should always do it, to stop it disappearing or erroring.
