'Credit Card' Style Staff Discounts and DMP's

Hi,

I have recently accepted a new retail management position who's discount scheme is through the 'store credit card'. (25% off, and 75% off uniform)

As I am on a DMP and my credit rating is shot to pieces how will I qualify to receive staff discount?

It's a bit embarassing to admit to your brand new employer that you have a debt problem!

How do they apply discount for under 18's who can't apply for credit?

Hi, sorry no one has replied, just think that most of the people on here do not know the answer.

Thing is if you ask me it sounds a bit dodgey as you can only have staff discount if you get a credit card and spend on it.... Therefore they are making money out of you from the interest.

Surley that is not allowed.

I may be wrong though, but does not sound right to me

But I bet that the credit card that they issue is one of those few that charges interest from the date of purchase!!
