Hello,
apologies in advance if this question has already been posted.
I have recently paid off my mortgage. What do I need to do now? I have contacted the Land Registry for the deeds - which I need to pay for. But is this it? and do i need the deeds now?
thank you
Miguel

You need do nothing. Your mortgage lender will deal with the removal of the legal charge on the property. In due course when it's completed they'll notify you.
In your final mortgage payment will be a fee to cover the lenders legal costs. The legal aspects being dealt with in house.0 -
The deeds are held electronically by the Land Registry, so there is nothing for you to receive.MigsyBigsy said:I have contacted the Land Registry for the deeds - which I need to pay for. But is this it? and do i need the deeds now?2 -
