FYI there's been an insta update

i dont use the app on my phone, just the weblink version of insta..and it still says Use Latest App     when i look at my messages .. If  Insta dont fix this issue soon   Insta will have a lot more inactive/ ex members

Same thing for me. When I'm tagged I now get a message instead of a notification, and in a browser the message is always "use the latest app", I have to look at my messages on the app to see what I've been tagged on. In my opinion this change makes no sense, and I hope the powers that be at Instagram reverse it asap. If not, then the least they should do is fix it so that the message actually shows me what I've been tagged on when I view it in a browser.

Like others have said above, with the constant bans and now this, I'm beginning to wonder if Instagram is worth the hassle any more. Great work Instagram - not!!

ive just had a normal comp tag   instead of the recent Use Latest App  ... i noticed that when ever i get tagged into something  or when i tag a friend that iv had chats with,,,i would get a Use Latest App message instead

I keep getting messages saying use latest app.                                                                                                                   Instagram is fine on my phone,but i do like to use the PC as well.

the only way i can see what has been sent is to use my phone, the lap top and i pad all show "use latest app" as I don't do comps on phone i have to search the sites on lap top after hecking phone. will be a pain at Christmas 24 when lots more tags.
