can i get your opinion on this telly please?

i'm looking to buy a new telly and i'm spending xmas in rep. of ireland.I found a deal for this phillips 42 " for 700 euros (about £500). i'm very happy to pay that for that size telly,but am i better off waiting for the u.k. sales? and am i ok to buy the telly here and take it back or will customs tell me off and charge me a huge bill?

I don't know much about prices of TVs but if it isn't urgent you'd be better waiting for the sales to start. Stores are always dropping their prices, and if you can't get this particular TV in a sale I bet you could get one that's almost like it for less.
