Natwest remortgage Dec 2023

Hi,
We are currently in the process of remortgage and have applied with Natwest via our broker, I had email alert off Experian and various other credit reference agency that I am registered with, that Natwest had done a hard search on 8th Dec. I just had quick look at equifax today and rbsg(lending unit within Natwest) has done a soft search today. But no update as of yet with the application.
Has anyone applied mortgage with Natwest recently or currently in the process? if so what are the timescales? Quite eager to get this over the line before the new year, as we have already wasted substantial amount of time with our previous mortgage advisor.
