5.8kg turkey how long to cook??

took out of packaging and threw away but forgot to see how long it will take to cook??:rolleyes:

My turkey is 5.4 kg and it says on the label to roast covered in foil for 3 hours 15 mins (remove foil for the last 40 mins) gas mark 5.

I always roast for an extra half hour on top of what the label says though.

Edit: I've just been on the above turkey website and it states a 5.8kg turkey should be cooked for 3 hours 26mins at gas mark 5/375F/190C

It depends on your cooker, some are good, some are rubbish. It will be done when the juice runs clear, but I realise this will be no help if you are trying to work out what time to put it in the oven to have it ready at a certain time.
