Buy out ex but adverse credit

Hi all, I co-own a house with my ex and he has agreed to let me buy him out. House is worth 150k and he wants 50k but I need a mortgage for 75k as it needs a lot of work. I earn 23k and am 49. Ccj from 2019 and 2020 due to paperwork not passed on to me . Still paying both but they’re around 1k each so could use some of the capital to pay off debts. Not missed any payments for 3 years on anything. Mortgage broker can’t help but CSL have said they can at a rate of 7.8%. Anyone any experience of them? I can afford the repayments but want to make sure this is my only option.
Thanks in advance

No experience of CSL (Although I think you might mean CLS - I have no experience of them either but I have heard of them).
If it is CLS they generally have a good reputation, I would say they probably will get you a mortgage if they are saying they can help. It might be worth getting a second opinion though, depending on the finer details, it might be possible to get something below 7%.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
