Like a fool ive decided to do yorkshire pud and sausages (separately as opposed to toad in the hole). The batter is made and sitting in the fridge. Would you make a single large yorkshire or little ones. How long does it take to cook a large one and at what temp? (fan oven)
Thanks
Thanks

The oil and the oven needs to be very hot. Leave your batter out of the frige at room temp for about half an hour. It will take about 20 mins for the y pud to cook p.s don't open the oven during cooking it0

I would make several small ones in a muffin tin.I personally find they cook faster and rise better as individuals rather than one large one.Ittakes approx 20 mins in a gas oven on Gas Mark 7.Sorry dont have an electric one so no idea of temps

The thing about getting the oil hot is absolutely key.
There's an old Yorkshire expression that I've just made up which goes:
Baht fat that's 'ot, yer puddin's fit fer nowt but the ket.0 -
