Overdales Solicitors - High Court

Hi
I have received letters from Overdales regarding a debt with Lowell claiming it has gone to CCJ and now will be passed to a High Court Enforcement Officer for a Writ of Control.
However I have received nothing from any court and there is no CCJ showing on any credit report (they claimed it was put on in June).
Is this just a bluff from them because I have had CCJ's before and my experience is you're given the opportunity to defend the claim by the court and once it goes to CCJ you can no longer pay the firm directly and it all has to be done through the courts.

What exactly does the letter say?
You can ask them, in writing don't phone them for the details of the CCJ, date place amount etc. and do nothing until you get a reply, on the off chance someone does turn up don't answer the door.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
