Welcome to the Advent competitions board ✨

Welcome.
It's December, and once again, many retailers are hosting daily prize giveaways, presented in the form of online Advent calendars. Each day, you'll find a new door to open - and a new competition to enter - on the retailer's website or social media page. This board is the place to discover these Advent calendar competitions and to share any you find yourself.
What does the 'A: 25/12' format in the title mean?
'A' stands for Advent. The number refers to the date each Advent competition ends. For many, the end date is 25/12 (25th December), because that's when the final door can be opened. Some end after only 12 days. Some are shorter still; some are longer.
How can I find high-value prizes only?
If you don't have much time for comping (it's a busy season after all), you might prefer to enter only the high-value prize competitions. Visit the Advents over £100 board and scroll through to see which prizes appeal.
Found a thread showing comps from a retailer you particularly like?
You can bookmark a thread by selecting the little bookmark icon at the top right (or just on the right when viewing a list of threads). That way, you'll be notified each time the thread is updated with the next day's giveaway.
Want to chat with other compers?
You can do that over on the dedicated Compers chat corner board.
Shout about your winnings!
If you get lucky and win a prize, tell us about it on the I won! I won! I won! board. It's always appreciated when you thank the Forumite who posted a link to the comp.
We especially love seeing photos of your prizes: consider posting a pic in the Winners Post a Picture Of Your Win Thread! Just be careful not to post any personal details, like pictures of faces, or anything that shows your address.
Happy Christmas comping. Good luck.

Very Good Tips for entering.. Remember though that not all doors you open will contain a prize . Some will only have an offer.
