If anyone wants to get a bit of a bargain on a basic payg mobile phone, Tesco has a brilliant deal on their sale.
This phone is reduced to £14.97, and you get £10 free air time http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-3677.aspx
If you buy their sim card which is reduced to £5.00, you get £10 free air time with it http://direct.tesco.com/promo/?id=S00003912
By the time you've used the free air time, you're 3p and a mobile phone better off :T and you also get your clubcard points
Great as a spare phone, a first phone or something basic for anyone who doesn't expect - or want - much from a mobile phone

You are still paying out £20 from your pocket, so its not really free in one sense.
But I can see what you mean if you are all ready on the tesco network and would have bought the airtime anyway
which is a good deal for some.0 -
It doesn't matter what network or tariff you're on - if you're going to use the air time then you may as well go for this and basically get the phone for free. You might even get £10 for it on ebay once you've used the air time

Or recycle it through Tesco for clubcard points.0

I bought the Tesco offer of the Nokia 1112 with £20 airtime for £20
which I believe is a much better basic phone. But I did end up selling it for £30

I'm going to get this - I'm not a huge phone user on either my landline or mobile but once I've used it up I'll then sell it on ebay
