This is the sort of nonsense that my parents seem to think - "there's no value in pensions".R200 said:I don’t know there is a lot of talk these days about third party risk. Any of these companies could collapse and everyone loses everything they paid into for years even decades
Typical pension arrangements are very different from in the past. The money you/your employer sets aside/invests isn't touchable by you, your employer, or the pension platform provider.
Withdrawing out of some completely misunderstood minute element of risk would be a mistake in the extreme.

They have had about 30 accounts here banned in the past. It’s the same posts over and over again, always turning political which is against the forum T&Cs (hence the constant bans).superbigal said:This poster is either a troll or one of the people the hideous Tories are trying to root out.
A lazy bar steward.
Bear in mind they also often post about the latest PS5 and buying silver which is odd for someone who is supposedly nearly bankrupt.
Forum admin, please delete if I have overstepped the mark but it’s unfair on the helpful members of this forum who give their own time to try and help others. I would suggest that people just ignore this user and don’t waste your time.5
