I've had two MSE emails about this, both going to a dead link. What is happening is the link to today's comp should be:

Last year's Day 9 prize was a water jug. Loppers were not a prize in 2022. I think they have simply used the wrong year in the closing date - note that the date posted (at the very top of the page) is 9th December 2023.
As most of the comps are open until 24/12, the comp is below. Hopefully they will correct their mistake before then.
