Nationwide mortgage application

I contacted online broker Habito on 31st October regarding a Nationwide genuine bargain price mortgage. They submitted an application for me. I’m 53, £25,000 salary p/a. Disability benefits of £550p/m.
The property is owned by my nephew. Valued at £215,000 being sold to me for £153,000. The mortgage I’m looking for is £122,000 over 22 years.
The mortgage application passed the various stages, valuation completed and approved. I was just waiting for an offer when nationwide told me there was an issue. Apparently the broker made a keying error at the beginning of the application. She keyed standard rather than genuine bargain price.
This has resulted in me being back to the very beginning and have a new mortgage application number.
I’m very annoyed about this as I was about to accept an offer on the property I’m selling but I’m reluctant as I’m worried there are issues with the new application and the mortgage is declined for whatever reason.
Would you say there’s a high chance the mortgage will be approved as I was close to receiving an offer on the first application? I guess I’m hoping for someone to put my mind at ease as I’m very stressed. It’s very frustrating that through the fault of the mortgage broker I’m back to square one.

I cant see any reason why you would have a problem with nationwide.
It should go through fine. Rates have also come down in the meantime. Im not sticking up for habito, but you might be quids in because of their mistake.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks very much for your reply. Yeah, the new interest rate has come down. I was thinking that too. Just worried about accepting an offer from a young couple on my property and letting them down if I should be declined. Probably worrying needlessly.0
