OP You are like many thousands of people in this country you have unsecured consumer debt.
We are not in Dickensian times when debtors were sent to jail - there wouldn't be enough jails to house everyone who is in debt and the country would grind to a halt with so few people left to do all the jobs.
Nothing terrible is going to happen if you don't pay anything towards your debts for a while, this whole system moves slowly.
Research as much as you can, read as many threads on here and the Debt Free Diary section and concentrate on paying only what you have to and building up an emergency fund and things will feel better.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -

can i start a dmp even if I just recently used the unsecured loans to fund the scam and haven't paid any penny so that the interests might not start piling up? will organizations like step change might not help me because of this situation?0
