Cleaning own work cloths

Hi all. I've applied for a cleaning job, I heard back and had a pre interview as they wittle down applications. I was told that once a week we need to take home the cloths and wash them. It's not a deal breaker for me, but is this common? Also for clarity, it is cloths, not clothes.
Thanks

Is it for an agency or a big company rather than a domestic premises?Aside from whose responsibility it is, seems a bit lax to only be washing cleaning cloths once a week. What about infection control? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

My reading is it takes a while to use enough cloths to be a sensible load - washing just the ones you used that day would seem extravagant.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

It's for an agency. I'm assuming it was cloths plural. It's an office environment that is getting cleaned.0

An interesting list. I see Navvies are on there - I can't imagine any would be called a navvy nowadays. People who make wooden legs are out of luck as they can't claim. Probably not too many of them around though. Lace makers too, not too many of those nowadays I wouldn't have thought.
