Going to the cinema on your own ain't much fun, which is why Dixons are offering you a 2 for 1 cinema pass for a whole year.

All customers who make a purchase from Dixons.co.uk before 11pm on Christmas Day are entitled to a '2 for 1' Vue Cinema Card, so two of you can view your favourite names throughout 2008 and only pay for one person. You will be able to go to a choice of Vue Cinemas for 12 months - so now the only hard bit is deciding who to take!

What do you need to do to claim your 2 for 1 Vue Cinema Card:

All you have to do is complete your purchase. Once you have completed your purchase and received your 3rd email with your Dixons order number we will arrange your Free 2 for 1 VUE Cinema card will be sent to the billing address on the order.

Conditions:

Promotion valid for delivered purchases made between 4pm on 24th December 2007 and 11pm on Christmas Day 25th December 2007 . Note that where an order is cancelled or refunded within 14 days of purchase it will not qualify for the 2 for 1 cinema card which will be posted within 28 days of purchase.


Terms and Conditions

1. Cinema card Valid until 31/12/08. 2. Upon presentation of this pass, the bearer is entitled to the purchase of two tickets for the price of one. 3. can't see any minimum price, is this a good offer.

Not sure if this offer is all that great, looking at the link http://www.myvue.com/2for1/
It only has a few films mentioned and none of the films are much to get excited about. So if this offer is limited to only to a handful off films Vue select, kind of takes the sheen off this for me.

There are only four movies on the Vue 2 for 1 list currently. Therefore the chance of the movie you want to watch being on the list is pretty remote.

Not a bad offer really, although there are only four movies on the list at the moment they will probably change next week, and again the week after that and so on.

The cinemas arent likely to give away tickets to the weeks top films when they know people will pay full price them but I can imagine the film you want to see will be likely to be in the list a couple of weeks after release.
