The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is a sequel to the classic Disney animated film The Lion King. It tells the story of Simba and Nala's daughter, Kiara, who is a rebellious and adventurous cub. One day, Kiara wanders into the forbidden Outlands, where she meets Kovu, a young cub who is being raised by Zira, the mate of the evil Scar.

Zira is still bitter about her loss to Simba, and she plans to use Kovu to get revenge. She teaches Kovu to hate Simba and the Pridelanders, and she hopes that one day Kovu will overthrow Simba and become king of the Pride Lands.

However, Kiara and Kovu fall in love, and they begin to see that their two prides are not as different as they thought. They realize that they must work together to overcome the hatred and mistrust that has divided them.

When Zira tries to carry out her plan to kill Simba, Kiara and Kovu intervene and save him. They convince Simba that Kovu is not evil, and that the two prides must unite in order to survive.
