Apologies for the lateness of my October update. Progress has improved over the last month, and I have put enough measures in place to achieve my target by the end of the year, all being well. Here are the numbers:
Savings Interest: £84.53
QMee: £11.19
Santander Cashback: £4.26
StreetBees: £3.00
Cooperative Bank Switch and Save Incentive: £15.00
Swagbucks: £100
Y-Live: £50
October Total: £269.84
2024 Total: £3651.83 / £4048
I've had a decent month with Swagbucks, so should get one more £100 payout from them before the year is out, and I also set up a cheeky little Nationwide Switch this month, which will net £175 in time to contribute to my target, as well as some small change in extra cashback and savings interest. I have also improved my efforts on the Giffgaff forum to get some extra payback from them.
One final push!
Good Luck in November Everybody.

Good Luck in November Everybody.
Easy daily points come from completing the Wordsearch six times (6SB), Daily poll (1SB), Daily Trivia (1-6 SB), Tapjoy (5SB), Daily search (3SB)... So I get about 20p per day while I'm drinking my morning coffee and waking up.
Whenever I have nothing else to do (like when I'm watching telly, sitting on the train or waiting for dinner to cook), I keep the surveys list on my screen and refresh it every few minutes to find surveys that pay enough to interest me.
ALWAYS COMPLAIN! If you get screened out of a survey when you have spent some time on it, don't hesitate to raise a ticket with customer services. For example, I had a 15 minute survey today for 75SB which disqualified me after six minutes because I don't play the right type of video games. I don't think that's fair, because screening questions should not be over a third of the total survey length, in my view, so I raised a ticket and they gave me the full 75SB and an apology for the inconvenience. It doesn't always work, but if you really feel that a survey provider has wasted your time, it's always worth moaning about it to see what you get!
Keep an eye on your daily to-do list. You get 2SB for completing any six tasks, and can pick up an extra 7SB for doing all of them, which is often as simple as removing an item from your basket in the magic receipts offers and then putting it back in again!
I basically use Swagbucks as a way to make a tiny little bit of extra money, using time that would have been wasted anyway. If I can get a few pence while I'm sat in front of the telly, that's better than nothing.
I hope this helps a bit.4 -

In the last 2 years alone I've had:
£60 from Virgin Money when they failed to pay a switching offer on time
£75 from TSB for a technical issue I kept suffering plus reimbursements for bus fares when they asked me to go to a branch
£30 when TSB failed to phone me on time for a phone appointment
£25 from HEBS when it took them several weeks to change my nominated bank account and charged me a fee in error
£100 from Barclays when they incorrectly put a default on my account and closed my account
£25 from Monmouthshire BS when they missed a term in the Ts&Cs for a couple of regular savers
There's been some others but I can't recall them off the top of my head.5 -

Well, November went very well, and enabled me to achieve my end of year target a month ahead of schedule. Here are the numbers:
Savings Interest: £84.65
Nationwide Switch: £175.00
Santander Cashback: £5.12
StreetBees: 60p
Wealthify Refer a Friend: £50
Swagbucks: £100
Ebay: £80
Overtime: £37.34
Gleaned: 10p
November Total: £532.81
2024 Total: £4184.64 / £4048
I still have a few tricks up my sleeve for December. I'm due some Payback from GiffGaff, my Halifax regular saver matures next month, I have grabbed a little bit of overtime and I have crossed the threshold for a cheque from Y-Live surveys next month too. Overall, I'm very proud of this year!
Now I just need to untangle the fairy lights and defrost the turkey.
Good Luck in December Everybody.
