Does anyone know why the Quidco Black Friday Match 3 disappeared? I get You don't have permission to do that.

Thank you, it hadn't come up when I searched it0

Generally best and quickest to save a link direct to the actual sites for daily entry etc rather than rely on entering via the forum every day2

Oh no! 😟 It's truly disheartening to hear about the Quidco Black Friday Match 3 disappearing, especially when you're met with that frustrating "You don't have permission" message. The anticipation and excitement must have been through the roof, and now this unexpected roadblock.

@MSE_ForumTeam5 Why are MSE deleting threads when a merge is requested? This can lose useful information and "loses" any thanks (Comp-liments) made on the deleted post. These thanks can be useful for people to see if they have entered already.
When they do actually do a merge, they do sometimes merge the original thread to the duplicate. Why? Is this because the merge request is badly worded? The original thread should remain as the thread starter and the duplicate added to it.Bob1 -
We would usually pick the older thread to use as the 'main' thread when doing a merge, but it can be a bit fiddly to get right.
Another thing that sometimes happens is that a merge is requested, but in the meantime the person who posted the dupe redacts their post with 'DUPE' all over it and there then doesn't seem much value in keeping it.

My understanding is that you would lose the entered/skipped on the duplicate anyway if the thread was merged.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please use the 'report' button to alert us to problem posts, or email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
