Options
Where on earth do I start, im so bad with money its disgusting! I never used to be from very early age it was me sorting out my parents finances always promising to myself I would never end up like them but I have, now I'm on a mission to get as close to debt free in a year as I can! I have 5 x credit cards 4 x catalogues and my income can vary , the cost of living is killing me atm food being the biggest bill yes I shop around,  I try to meal plan some weeks are more successful than others , as for the debt its so bad I could cry 😢 infact it gives me crippling anxiety but I've gone round and round for 3 years now and it can't continue! I'm reading threads for advice and guidance but also for motivation as I feel so alone in it yet,  im married but we keep finances separate I've previously had help but did the same again so now its up to me and I get that 100% ! I can't get any balance transfers i can get more cards just not b.t.on 0% , I need to get my life sorted

I am also hopeless with money but I am planning on changing that slowly and surely.

Do you have a list with total of debts on all cards, catalogues etc?

Just get it all written down and make a plan from there.

    Hi Bookwormlady,

We're mostly very hopeless with money here, except those who are really good! You'll probably get support and advice from both groups, but most importantly - you're not alone!

Start totting it all up and make a plan, ask for help here if needed, or just share what you're doing for some moral support.

I'm always in it, it's only the depth that varies....
