Additional voluntary contributions

We have been topping up my husbands N.I contributions as he was unable to work for a number of years. He was due to get his pension December 2023 but unfortunately passed in Oct 2023. Does anyone know if I can claim these payments back and if so who do I contact ?

Sorry for your loss, Unfortunately they are not reclaimable.  NI voluntary contributions are a form of reverse life insurance premium, they only pay out if the payer lives and are lost if not.
