If i have applied normally to extend my term and the fixed rate is porting with the remaining 18 months of the deal. WIll my payment still proceed on the 1st December if I applied today? (it has gone to review online with a new mortgage account number)

Takes a minimum of 10 days to amend a direct debit mandate. Question possibly is whether HSBC will amend the term mid month or from the 1st December. If the latter would result in the payment amount being adjusted from the 1st January in any event.1
