Good morning, raining again here in the South Lakes, but as Izzy said yesterday that's why it's so green!
We just strolled round the local area yesterday, thinking of going to Hawes today.
We went to a church Christmas fair when we were out and I bought a few little things for the young grandchildren. It was packed, it was nice to see it so well supported.
Hope you're feeling better Ruby, also thinking of the other poorly people.
Have a good day and take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks both GERS and SCARLET for the twin posting! What a surprise it's been raining again, though we currently have a lull. I'm sure it will soon start again.
I've been a busy bee this morning, I have my soup on the go for the coming week and a pan of mince to pack in the freezer for cottage pie bases. They come in handy for when I have a bit of l/o mash.
I thought I had joined SCARLET in the Lakes yesterday. The fields on my bus ride to Skipton were all flooded, it looked quite pretty. I timed it just right for my wander round as the sun had come out and it felt very pleasant. The market was in full swing, with lots of folk wandering about and some actually buying! I got two more of the floaty scarves I got a few weeks back as extra stocking fillers. I managed to find a few stocking fillers for the menfolk and a bandana for DS's Staffy. I saw them in Oxfam a while back and regretted not buying one so I was pleased they still had some. I didn't spot a suitable joint present for DS and his DP so once back home I ordered (and probably paid over the odds for!!) a smallish hamper from Carluccio's online shop. I'm getting there slowly!
Your procedure sounds unpleasant RUBY, I hope it soon feels less painful. DP1 good news for your DD, your DGD will be beyond excited! Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and poorly loved ones. CAMELOT and BELLA I hope you soon shake off the bug that clobbered you. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"6 -
