Avoiding housebuilders in pensions portfolio

A BBC documentary featuring Martin Lewis about housebuilding. That's a recipe for even handed reporting if ever I read one
Housebuilders have not created the underlying excessive demand for housing, over the last 20-30 years, and aslo have not created the effective free borrowing/money printing scenario since the GFC, either.
You can find any industry or sector and identify alleged problems and immorality if you look for them. Especially those that set out to signal their virtue to others. What you are proposing is very difficult, close on impossible to achieve without doing it manually, and somewhat overly reactive (and potentially costly) in my humble opinion.1 -

Thanks everyone for your response, and apologies that I didn't respond sooner. I thought I'd elected to get updates when someone leaves a comment, but evidently not.
I can see how my question probably sounds naive to many of you, and I have no illusions that my tiny foot-stamping will make any difference to those housebuilders - well, not if I'm the only one, anyway. I also know that we live in a capitalist society, and the successive disgusting governments have allowed housebuilders to behave as they have in the interests of their profits/shareholders. I will feel a bit better though, knowing that I didn't knowingly support them.
@QrizB I think it's foundation enough if the facts in it are true. And what makes you think it's the only foundation for my investment decisions? I'm comfortable with my principals, even if I might not be so well off in the long-run for them. I recommend you watch the programme if you haven't.
