Voluntary contributions not credited - what to do next?

Despite paying for an extra NI year, and receiving a letter confirming receipt back in May 2023, it's still not been credited. Numerous attempts to phone them, sometimes hanging on for nearly an hour; sometimes getting mysteriously cut off, and once managing to get through to be promised that it had now been resolved, the gap is still there.  I need to claim my pension for February and need to get it resolved quickly.  Any ideas on other ways of getting this sorted ??  Thanks.

Phoned who: HMRC or the Future Pensions Centre helpline? 

Try the one you haven't tried, one may help or advise on the situation. Call at less busy times (4-6pm).

HMRC NI enquiries are the ones responsible for crediting years. Phone them as soon as they open, usually best time to get through. Normally when you are told it is sorted it's done there and then.

I am the same, paid voluntary NI ( on Martins Advice ) got through to pensions advice & HMRC (for reference) within mins. After 10 weeks contacted HMRC NI answered after 59 mins. Lady said couldnt find my payment after confirming all bank details and reference, would pass on to another department. 13 weeks still no update. Raised a complaint but ' due to increased demand your complaint may take longer to resolve' I'm due my pension in December but the odds dont look good.
