Lovetoshop contactless voucher Issues

I have had my contactless voucher for 11 months now so have 1 month to use before it expires I have tried to use it at hobbycrafts twice it was declined (even though I have activated it and added it to my apple wallet) tried to use it in New Look online but it asked for a digit code which was longer than the 3 digit on the back of the card.  I have never had so much stress in trying to use this contactless card I got from work last christmas.  Any help would be appreciated as I emailed lovetoshop and they just sent a link to clevercards which was no help at all

Not sure if it is the same but with love to shop cards that swipe you need to know how much is on it and I put that amount into the till ,so if you have £5 on the card but the items you buy are £5.10 the assistant would need to put £5. To the card then 10 p to cash. Easier if you spend £4.99 then it will have enough on the card not to decline as not having enough on it. Hope that makes sense.
