That's a good article. I got an £11,000 Nationwide credit card debt cleared plus £5000 refunded to my bank account on the back of an affordability complaint. It took two years and I had to push it all the way up to FOS ombudsman level. I also have £15,000 of other debt that I've found to be unenforcable by making CCA requests. That's made a huge difference to me and I'd be £31,000 worse off if I had just listened to Stepchange so it's well worth exploring all these options.
