Buying things for my bankrupt relative

Hi there
Just wondering, I know that it's problematic to buy physical things for a bankrupt relative, or to give them money or cash, but what about if I pay for services for them, for example private medical treatment or a holiday? Is that safe?

My son put me on his credit card for emergency....it's his account so he's responsible.
