Solar Battery Fault, BuyBack ?

Just a quick update here .. Thankyou everyone that took the trouble to respond.I eventually managed to get LG to increase their buyback offer to £700, and they will cover the cost of the removal / decomissioning of the battery up to 400 euros.Im still out of pocket, but I understand it was my decision to finance the battery purchase, so they are under no obligation to cover any shortfall.I did check the small print on the warranty, and it was like for like or buyback. As they dont have any more of the same batterys in stock, it was never an option, and they would not let me put some cash into it to "upgrade"However, I will keep the Battery wiring in place, and just have the bare + / - insulated and the Anderson connector at the Inverter disconnected, just in case I get another battery in the futureLBM - Oct - 08 DMP Started - Feb -09
