Wondering if anyone knows the nearest Tram or Bus stop outside Waverley Train station for getting to Premiere inn on Princess street?
I know its not far but mobility issues make it difficult also public Transport is much cheaper than Taxi.

I would assume go straight up to Princes Street and go to the nearest stop but there is no guarantee it will stop further up Princes Street, you may have to ask every bus. Tram not really an option either as West End tram stop is well off the end of Princes St.0

Google maps are your best friend. Turn left at the top of the escalators and there are two bus stops. You want buses 1, 22, or 34, which may go from stop PP.
The Premier Inn appears to be above New Look, opposite stop PZ. You'll need to continue walking away from the train station to the junction, cross and walk back the other side.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
It's apparently a 10 min walk from Waverley to the Premier Inn - a fair amount of walking will be needed to get out of the station, and I wonder whether the bus will be helpful /save walking given the distance... A taxi might be a better bet if the goal is to minimise walking.0

Last time I went to Edinburgh the taxis came down the ramp to the station, do they still do that?0

Come out of the station to bus stop PP and get off two stops later. Can take bus 4, 25, 43, 124 or X70 -
Get off at Haymarket station and use Bus/Tram may be another option0

Good point! There will definitely be a lot less walking from Haymarket to the tram stop. I think only a single lift to deal with too.
With Waverley you'd need to either take the escalators on the North side straight up to Princes street and get Tram from there, or go up the ramp on the West side and then walk up to Princes street for the tram. Depending on what platform you come in that could be quite a journey.

Many Thanks to all who have helped with my inquiry. I like the idea off getting off at Haymarket if my ticket which is only booked to Waverley will allow .
Many Thanks again .Keep in your thoughts the poor Beasts of burden around the World and curse All who do them harm.0 -
This PI now has reception on ground floor, which is a lot more convenient than old set up.0
