Counterfeit money pens

Does anyone know where I would be able to get a counterfeit money pen. I saw a programme last night, Funny Money about counterfeit money and wondered, if you were given a dodgy note in a shop etc and you checked it with one of those pens there and then, what would your rights be with regard to getting a genuine note from the shop owner. I know most places do have detection methods for counterfeit money but not all and just wondered if anyone knew the ins and outs. TIA.

Depending where you live I'd firstly checkout the local police crime prevention office as they tend to stock items such as this. If not you can either get them scam-eBay for a couple of pounds however if you don't wish to mix with all the low-life on there check out this site:

Why not examine the note before you leave the counter/store? The tv programme advised that:
the (raised print) feel of the print on the note is important
the watermark should be present
the metal strip (which might be visibly a broken line on the surface) should be a solid line when held up to the light
Be aware that even banks have been fooled by counterfeit notes. I was a victim of counterfeit notes from my bank a few years ago:eek: .
I always examine notes (up in the air) at every shop/bank or money transaction now.....couldn't give a monkey's how petty it looks to the staff.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride.
