Domestic flight with Ryanair

My son is flying with Ryanair Belfast to Edinburgh. He does not have a passport. Will another form of photographic ID be accepted.

According to the Ryanair website they accept any photo ID that matches the booking details. Here's the link, you need to scroll down quite a bit.

My brother checked with Ryanair staff whilst at Belfast international and they confirmed that for domestic flights any photo ID which matched booking was acceptable.0

Domestic flights with RyanAir, they will accept photo ID - i use my driving licence.1
